So, it would seem I’ll be on board indefinitely...

[First thing’s first: determine what angle to take. Innocent, doe eyed girl seemed to be her best bet right now. Pushing some of her hair from her face, she sits up a little straighter.]

Would anyone be kind enough to tell me what it’s like being here? And anything I should keep in mind? I’d be extremely grateful.

[Was it laying the sweetness on a little too thick? Mentally she’s attempting to gauge the situation, maybe lay off the innocence when the time comes to reply? Maybe not.]

If you didn't make a deal with the Admiral, you're probably an inmate. That seems to be the case most of the time. If you're an inmate, you were at risk of dying or had just died, and you can't leave yet. [She does feel bad for her because being held prisoner sucks.]

There are floods- there is one right now. It makes people change and act differently from who they normally are.

Sometimes you don't even realized that you've changed.

It's an multidimensional space ship that serves as a rehabilitation center for people with apparent flaws as people who are just as messed up try to help you. We dock in random places, become entirely different people sometimes, and, like now, we sometimes just get completely screwed with for someone's twisted amusement.

Which is why, in short: it sucks.

That's a valid argument for the level of suck this place is full of.

That's the point of prison, I suppose. Still, usually someone get to go home at the end of the day.

[So look, it's another pretty blonde thing, one who basically gave the same first message to the Barge a year ago. It was an act for her, and she wouldn't be surprised if it was an act for this girl too, but she's not going to assume.]

Depends where you were before. You ever been inside, it's a lot nicer than you'd expect. But you never know what to expect around here. It'll be quiet for weeks, then you wake up somebody else.

I may as well have been in hell before, dear. This is a perfect little vacation from it... [She pauses.] I've heard of a few of the stranger things that happen around here... Not entirely sure I'd be a fan of those.

Pretty rare someone is. If you get past that and you can make your own fun, get the right friends, the hard part's inside your own head.
